Companion websites are now available for Comme on dit and C’est ce qu’on dit. Powered by Lingco, teachers can preview the companion websites and create their courses.
Students and independent learners receive 18 months of Lingco access that begins after a free 14-day grace period.
How do I begin setting up my course?
To get started and create your course, click on the button below. Once you have created your course, you will be able to customize it at any time. Please note that after creating your account, approval for full access may take 1-2 business days.
First, click the “Create my Course” button above and make sure you have signed up as an instructor. Once you’ve submitted your request, you will receive a notification from Lingco within 1-2 business days giving you access to your course(s).
Once you have access to the course, you can begin customizing it to suit your classroom needs. For resources on how to set up and customize your course, please visit the Lingco Help Center. It includes articles that explain how the platform works and what you can do with it.
If you have additional questions, Lingco is also available to live chat with instructors. You may live chat with a member of the Lingco team by clicking on the purple chat bubble in the bottom right of the Lingco platform or email support@lingco.io.
Is there instructor training?
Yes. Lingco, the companion website platform, periodically hosts live training sessions to help you get acclimated to the new websites. Join the Lingco team for an introduction to these programs. You’ll learn how to: set up your course; register your students; assign and grade activities; and build your own supplementary study material using Lingco’s intuitive tools.

How do I invite students to join my course once my course is ready?
There are several ways to invite students to join your course. After you have created your course, navigate to the Class Roster and select “Add and Invite Students.” Then:
Option 1: Provide students with your unique Course Code. After students have logged in or created a Lingco account, they will be prompted to enter the Course Code for your course. If students do not have a Course Code yet, they can still create an account and link to the course later by inputting the Course Code at any time. Students may enter their companion website Access Code when they create an account or before the 14-day grace period ends.
Option 2: Add students to the class roster in Lingco and have Lingco email them a course invitation. Students will click on the link in the email, log in or sign up for a new account, and either input their companion website Access Code immediately or before the 14-day grace period ends.
Option 3: Provide students with your unique Course Link. Once students click on the link that you have given them, they will be able to log in or sign up for a new account, and either input the Access Code in their package immediately or before the 14-day grace period ends.
